About 10 years ago when I was in my mid 20s I played football for the Hendrewen ( It would take me an hour to get there ) all the mad lot used to come and watch us. Eddies , Ralph , Wyndham ,big George but all good lads. I give up in the end because I was the only one turning up for training

Dogs bollox bar was ok and had footy on one of the times I visited, Mr Hickey (Chelsea) was running it and was a good place for a few beers and good atmosphere. Don't know if it's still there or him as things change all the time.

My fault, thought Hicks owned it as only ever met him there and drank with him. Never met Henderson.

great days, remember playing 1 sunday morning after a mad Saturday and Guppy hughes skinning me a few times. in the end I rugby tackled someone then rolled off the pitch spewing!
