Typically, I'll be in work so won't be around to see the announcement as it's made, but I'm very excited about this. Doubt he'll be able to do anything to influence the Newcastle game on Saturday, but if he can start working on a hit list of players and get some in over the next couple days, we could see a much different Cardiff City next saturday against West Ham. And by that, I mean one or two new faces, and attacking football for a change!

12-4 then? Just wondering as I'd like to listen to it when I'm on break, that's why I'd like to know. Hope this clears things up.

From the hours of 12 til 4 is lunchtime normally? I have an hour break. I'd like to know roughly as I'd like to listen to it, as I don't have 4 hours of break to take. Understand?

With money to spend Alfred Finnbogason could be making his way to the Bluebirds

The fact he has signed must mean he is confident the structure of the club regarding transfers is stable and assurances given regarding interference from Tan. Im sure he and fergie have chatted about this.

This is the fella which that poster called Serpico (ccmb) linked us with.
He looks to be a class act, banging them in at the moment.
But, will be the Dutch leagues top scorer mean he can get Premier league goals.
Also, just looked on web and it looks like he's come out and said he ain't going anywhere until the summer window.

Is that an opinion Carl, or have you heard we are in for him ?

Give them Gunnarsson as part of the deal to knock the price down.

Very excited about solksjaer, more excited about finnbogason and this jan window mind you.

Solskjaer has asked for a twelve month rolling contract with a release clause incase of relegation !
That's the stumbling block and why it's taking a while to finalise

What is his contract situation with Molde? Do we pay them compo?

And he's asked for his pet bird 'Morris' to be flown over, that's what the hold up was.

Hope so. 41 goals in 48 appearances is brilliant wherever you play.

I will be glad when this is official...it will shut up football pundits who have been slamming our club recently, probably justified but relentless...we need our owner to keep quiet now and let the manager manage .Tan has made a few huge mistakes in his time here, many unforgivable,he has made the club a subject of ridicule and really needs to return the club back to blue next season and give us a proper badge...it won't change the hate that he has brought on himself but it would be a start...I am hoping the fans get behind the new man and I am sure they will but Tan can bring the club back fighting in the right direction by simply returning the shirts back to blue,we all need to be united if we want to progress.

Hopefully he can influence the Newcastle game by playing the reserves and bombing straight out, so he can put everything into the League and keeping us up

And turning us Blue again
Wed Jan 01, 2014 11:13 pm
It is always aspirational to have a wish list of players to improve our team and subsequently transform our season.
However, I am a little perplexed, who is supposed to supply the cash to transform our current squad?
Am I to believe the fairy godmother in whom we are placing our faith in is Vincent Tan? I thought we wanted him out? Aren't we protesting against him and his eccentric but embarrassing mannerisms. Are we not singing arias about his imminent departure from our club?
I really wish we still played in the blue of the first Scouler team I supported, by the way the shirts had no badge, just bluebirds etched across the chest, I am no Tan apologist
However, I wish we were more consistent and less hypocritical in what we wish for.
We need to support our team and the new man that leads them.
We need to survive in the premier league this season and establish our club as the premier football club in Wales, this is our opportunity. It may never come again.
