David Kerslake unsure of his Cardiff City future

Wed Jan 01, 2014 7:11 pm

Cardiff City's cartaker boss David Kerslake has admitted that he has "probably" taken charge of his last match with the Bluebirds.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be named as the club's new manager after he was spotted with owner Vincent Tan in the crowd as they lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates.

"It's probably my last game in charge yes," Kerslake told Sky Sports News.

"My future is entirely up to the new manager and the chairman. No one said anything [about Solskjaer being there] before the
game. That was far from being mentioned on the team bus.

"Whether that had got through to them on social media, I don't know."

The defeat leaves the Welsh side in 17th in the Premier League.

Agreed. With Kerslake in charge its like the ghost of Malky and his shit, negative tactics / substitutions was lingering and it cost us v Sunderland.

Didnt expect anything today and its a tough one having gone close to a point but Im still spewing over the Sunderland game.

Strictly speaking it was KTC who didn't boot the ball into the Bob bank when he should have done.

Yes and I crucified him for it.

Hoewever it shouldnt have got to that point if Kerslake hadnt gone all Malky and allow the players to sit in their own box for the last 20.

You're dead right Polo, crazy substitutions cost us big time, Malky had problems with subs all season. Substituting the wrong players, not substituting when he needed to, and if making the right substitution, far far too late.
