Ole Gunnar Solskjær - The Credentials of

So, there no doubting his playing credentials. He's a Legend at one of the worlds biggest clubs. Albeit, a 'super sub' status but, there's no shame in that with the goals and success he's had playing for Manchester United. I'm sure every player in the world would happily take that nickname if it meant scoring the winner in a Champions League final.

Like many other ex Manchester United players now turning their hand at management, he's had the tutoring from The Greatest British manager of all time in Sir Alex Ferguson. The amount of learning of management style, coaching set-up, dealing with pressure, breeding success etc etc, is second to none.

His managerial apprenticeship can be deemed to have been done whilst managing the ManU Reserves. This would have been ideal as he would've had to deal with some big name players and ego's and some class young talent. He won some reserve team cup which, obviously isn't prestigious silverware but shows a winning and successful start to management.

His appointment at Molde may not be to the same level of some championship clubs but, he steered the club to their first ever League Championship Title which they went on to defend in his second season. Again, this is clear evidence that he can set up the right recipe for success.

He's now stepping up to the Premier League with us.

I'm confident that he'll do well, and continue to bring success to the team he manages carrying on the fine form and background he's had during the early start of his management career.

His first success as Cardiff Manager will be to get us scoring goals to beat relegation.

With what's available at the moment, I can't see a better appointment the club could have made as manager.
