You can start a sentence without a capital in certain circumstances. Examples would include the ones above (iPad, iPhone, iTunes etc). Also, I believe singer kd lang uses no capitals in her name, therefore a sentence beginning with her name would begin with a lower case letter. My post was in lower case to mirror the previously posted error I was highlighting
