UPDATED ' Tan wont give up '

Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:53 pm

Tuesday 31st December 7.25pm & 11pm

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Agent are expected to be at Arsenal tomorrow and City are expected in the next 48hrs to announce him as their New Manager, if all goes well.

Solskjaer has already once turned Vincent Tan down, but Tan is determined to get him as our new manager. Interesting couple of days ahead.

Tan, has increased his offer to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to manage us, lets see if he is in the Directors box tomorrow as he has been asked to come to our match.

If Solskaer turns up at Arsenal tomorrow I believe he will take the job.

Don't think we would ever get hoddle not with tan in charge, can't see many managers wanting to work with him to be honest

Tan looks like a man that won't give up fullstop.

Coz he told Malky there wouldn't be a penny to spend in January.

But that was only due to the friction between them. It was always likely that a new manager would be given a war chest to help tempt them...

i just dont see Ole as any better than Malky in fact malky has more experiance than Ole is Ole a step back or a step forward do you think.

I would like to see a more experianced manager as it looks like we will be a relagation battle which will need experiance to guide us threw it .

I believe the same, I am sitting on the fence regarding his management credentials, but I would fully support him, I still think Malky would of kept us up if Tan had left him get on with the job.

There is no manager better than Malky who will want to come to Cardiff "the circus" City.

People underestimate what Cardiff can offer, I am sure Hoddle would take it, and it looks like OGS may still take it despite the press and media trying to frighten him off. I would prefer Bielsa but it doesn't look like he is a real target.

It looks like it's all out for OGS, Let's hope we get one of them soon so they can get a few more players in.

Who could bring in the best players and give us the biggest chance this transfer window ?

Re: ' Tan wont give up '

Tue Dec 31, 2013 4:39 pm

OGS for me. He could bring some cracking players with him via his United contacts and who knows Mike Phelan might just be tempted to sit along side him for the ride. That would be a fab pairing of enthusiasm and experience.

i understand they are just going over the final stumbling blocks of the contract annis. as long as ole allows tan and his son to pick the team, sign zaha on loan because he's tans sons favourite player and kimbo must be in the starting eleven then the jobs his

Plus he has to guarantee that David Marshall scores at least one goal a month

Annis surely the club must know if he is coming or not, they wouldn't expect him to independently get to the emirates. Sounds like a dead duck to me.

If Ole does come like another post has suggested it would be good to see his assistant with a bit a experiance and maybe another old head in the director of football roll look what lennie lawrance did supporting fergason at Palace. :malky:

Two Nutters together if we landed Hoddle - however his birthday is 27/10/57 and I read somewhere that Tan will only go for people with an 8 in their DoB.

Having said that OGS was born on 26/02/73 so does that mean Tan has double standards?

This is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job if he wants it . As you said Annis - Tan has increased his offer needs to get his man now !!

Otherwise we could be here for a while looking for a new manager ( 5-10 days they said :o )

If you were a manager looking to make a name in the Premier league would you, hold out for a bigger wage or hold out for a bigger transfer kitty?

I think I'd go for less wages, more kitty. At least that way you make a name for yourself and get one of the big jobs.

Re: UPDATED ' Tan wont give up '

I dont really want him there as I would still prefer Malky to be taking us through this season...However if he comes he'll get my support and i think he's the best we can get at moment - some of the other names bandied about are just ridiculous....

time for the OLE, OLE, OLE, OLE, GUNNAR SOLSKJAER chant to ring around CC Stadium....

but TAN will NEVER be forgiven (NOT BY ME ANYWAY)..
