Let's create a Sea Of Blue at all our remaining games this season by holding our Blue scarves aloft while singing Men Of Harlech, We'll Always Be Blue, And It's Cardiff City etc . Would look amazing even if only The Canton did it but if the whole ground joined in ....wow !

I think this is the best idea for protest of all. It will be visually spectacular, picked up on TV, a clear message to everyone that deep down we're all still blue. Everyone can get involved for the cost of a scarf, it doesnt harm anyone and it can't be stopped by anyone.
The "Sea of Blue" protest is absolutely the way to go

Beats having meatings just bloody do!!!!!!

Can we make this a sticky and get everyone behind it?
I see that people are also suggesting getting blue cards to hold up, which is a good idea, but my only fear with that is that it takes organising, it costs and will probably be a one off. If we can just get everyone to buy a blue scarf and hold it up for these 3 songs, its something that can be done every games home and away. No one can accuse Cardiff City fans of accepting the rebrand in a Sea of Blue

Take a spare blue City shirt and hold it up. Even if only 10,000 did this it would look spectacular. C'mon lads, we've all got old City shirts to do this with.

Great shout the best ideas are always simple.
it would look brilliant, and Sky and the press photographers would love it.
It's cheap and doesnt involve any time of effort, and it's still positive and should encourage us fans to get behind the team immediately after. We should try the blue cards aswell for some games

Everyone throwing their Red Scarfs on to the pitch before Kick Off at a Televised Home Match would be the most powerful statement Bluebirds fans could collectively make

Have been saying this all along. The best way to protest is for everyone to wear Blue, it's already happening.
Also the street venders to sell blue, white, and yellow scarfs and flags, not those stupid two tone team crappy things they sell outside the Mill stadium on a rugby day,,,typical Scouse tat.
Blue and white, it's the way forward!

3 of us started to do it in the Grandstand 3 or 4 games back. Its already started to spread around us and more people are starting to bring scarves and get involved. I think it could really catch on, it can easily snowball and become something special. Its a dignified yet visually spectacular protest

Good idea but shirts are bigger than scarves and would have a far greater visual effect imo, so my message is BRING AN OLD BLUE CITY SHIRT AND HOLD IT HIGH AND PROUD. Either way...MORE BLUE PLEASE!!

This really is a great post Terry; I think this could be a successful tactic for us.
People talk about boycotting games and its something I've thought about doing myself but subsequently dismissed. The problem being there are too many red chancers out there happy to take a true fans place just for a couple of hours entertainment. Also, rather than stooping to low abuse and getting labelled as mindless idiots, this method could utilise the media coverage to immense effect.
If we show the world at every game there is s mismatch between Tans view of the club and the majority of the fans, it will continue to bring him adverse publicity, and that would derail his overall marketing plan.
If we keep this up we will win the moral high ground and, in my opinion we will eventually achieve our objective.

I've always got my blue shirt on and my blue and white scarf
Tue Jan 07, 2014 12:08 am
Bought a blue and white bar scarf from amazon yesterday £6. I'll be taking it every game now ready for these songs.
I do like the shirt idea though, what a statement that would be. Shame City fans are terrible at organising, would be nice to see the blue card idea come off

Nice one CantonJack, I'm sure this will catch on and snowball into something really special.

I'll wear what I want
I'll wear what I want
Man of Harlech
I'll wear what I want
..... not what anyone tells me to.
Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:30 pm
I'm not saying its a bad idea, but the majority of our 27,000 fans don't come on this message board (or another board). This only counts to the people on here, who probably wear Blue anyway?
Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:41 pm
It will never work as we saw give a couple of free red scarves out to the crowd and they wear them, even the 20 or so protesting against tan same wore red, and as for the walk out after 19 mins 27 secs at Sunderland was a joke. You can talk a good game and people will agree but when it comes down to it you are pretty much on your own.
This bunch of supporters need a strong leader to unite them however those people are too frightened to take a stand as they will loose their perks from the club from what I heard in the pub the other day.
