I didn't realise how quick he is. Didn't he start off as a winger....I'd convert him back, he looks very tricky going forward!

Its fantastic to see a welsh boy come through the academy and do well - really held his own against Sunderland.
18 years old as well! If he keeps up these performances i think he will be a regular starter for us.

I like Taylor but I think John deserves to keep his place.

Wasted as a full back imo. Has a great future as an attacking midfield player. Can play wide but I think he could operate anywhere in midfield. Can run with the ball and take people on, lively, good passer and can shoot. Used to be a winger.....who the fk converted him to a full back??

Stated as a striker, then winger then lb

Declan John put in a classy performance yesterday, got forward well and showed a calmness under pressure that is lacking in Taylor. My highlight was the way he won a free kick from Steven Fletcher through sheer determination not to lose the ball, Taylor would have lost him and let him run at goal.

As with many wingers they have to realize they are not quite good enough and then the decision is go midfield or left back.
There are very few left backs or right backs that start life in either position they start as wingers or midfielders but don't make the grade so if they have enough talent and a good eye for the ball they stay in football but as defenders which they have to work really hard to become good at.
Declan falls firmly in this category.

Looked very classy yesterday, not for the first time neither. He's good a big future if he stays injury free

Agree was the best i've seen john play.
Nugent I really rate aswell, strong, fast, great on the ball all the credentials to succeed in the top flight.
Why not give nugent a game over turner~?
I dont think he is anywhere near good enough at the moment.
He was struggling to get on the Bentford bench not long ago.

As much as I like nugent, I think he's still learning his trade.

maybe for a CB to be thrown in it is slightly more of a big ask for a young player. One mistake and the opposition are clear through on goal.
But when he has played looks like a player who will make the grade adventually
