Where on earth did that tw*t foy get 5 mins from, they need to introduce stopping the clock like in rugga, bcoz xtra time is a joke in most games

5 mins was a joke,i think he added some time on when Kimbo got subbed he wanted to shake players hands as he strolled off.

30 seconds added for subs, we added 90 seconds to the game with three needless substitutions. The three taken off were possibly tired as were the rest of the team. They should have lasted out the game in my opinion.

There were also 3 goals in the second half and each goal adds an extra 30 seconds on, so that's 4 and a half minutes to start. Add on additional delays during the second half for injuries etc and it's not hard to see why 5 minutes was added. We just weren't good enough to close the game out due to wrong substitutions.

One of the substitutions was at half time. One of the substitutions was a double substitution. The game was only stopped 4 times for substitutions. There WERE 3 goals but one of them was in the period of additional time already indicated. 6 minutes and 4 seconds were actually played.

I reckon the refs adds time on when teams celebrate their goals & there was plenty of that going on hence the extra, extra time. Kim took an age to go off & there were probably other bits & pieces added on also that annoys referees.
The point is the substitutions were shit except for Kim as he looked dead on his feet.
We invited them to attack, sat back & unfortunately got what we deserved. I've seen it too many times.

There were 4 subs 3 by us and they had a double on the 75th min, And 2 goals second half cause 1 of the goals were scored in the 95th min, So you cant give extra time for that! And i didn't see no injury's.. Liverpool and Chelsea was a prime example yesterday so many stoppages, injury's, fouls, subs, time wasting, And i heard the commentator even mention Howard Webb will be giving a decent amount of injury time for all this time wasting and he give 4 mins!! i admit we threw the game away but it should never of been 5 mins IMO

If we're blaming the ref for adding on an extra minute or two for a defeat then you know we're looking desperate for excuses. At 2-0 up we fell back too deep and basically begged Sunderland to score. Add into that the fact that Turner fell asleep on the cross for Fletcher's goal and Mutch left Colback unmarked for his goal after getting seduced by the ball and you have your reasons for us surrendering lead. Not the number of minutes Foy added.

What im trying to say is the extra time was already added before the goal so it was 2 goals not 3 like you said

The ACTUAL amount of additional time played was 6 minutes and 4 seconds. So even allowing for 4 stoppages for substitutions and 3 stoppages for goals scored, that only adds up to 3 and a half minutes. Where did the other 2 minutes and 34 seconds come from?
