' A STEWARDS ENQUIRY IN TO BANNER FIASCO '

Sun Dec 29, 2013 3:43 pm

Cardiff City stadium officials are investigating the behaviour of certain stewards at the Sunderland game.

Complaints have been made by a number of fans after being threatened of being banned from the stadium should they hold up any banners.

One father has complained that his child was barged into by stewards in the family stand when they were trying to retrieve the 'Thank You Malky' banner along his row, the father asked the steward for an apology and the steward in question replied in an arrogant manner and told him to 'shut it or you will be banned'. A heated argument between the father and steward ensued as a result.

Fans from the Canton Stand have complained about the stewarding in their stand also related to banners they had confiscated or torn up by stewards also.

Its got to stop and those giving the orders should also be accounted for.

Freedom of Speech in the stadium as long as not Racism or threatening violence should be allowed.

I hope all those families involved yesterday come forward.

Sad to see Cardiff fans telling the bloke in the tan out top to f**k off ect but the stewards again out of order

I was sat right by the boys who put this banner up .All they did was hold the banner up and sing malky songs nothing else all it was ,was to say thankyou to malky and lots of people joined in .The stewards came out and tried to take the banner only for us fans to throw it around so they couldnt get it.

What the hell is wrong with any of this ccfc needs to sort its self out bang out of order to be honest.

There are banners that are saying things like Tan out etc but to be fair we as fans havent been allowed any dialog in anything at the club its all been behind are backs .

The only way we do get heard is holding these banners up SO WTF DO THEY EXPECT. :ayatollah:

Where else can we see a club so torn apart with groups of fans set against groups of fans. I fear this will turn ugly. So it seems a cheap rich egotistical prick and a huge number of wannabees who have joined a bandwagon may well create an ugly civil war!

Eastenders, Coronation Street and Cardiff City - best soap operas going.

We are a joke. Taking banners from people in family stand is an absolute farce - the banner was even 'Thanks Malky'!!!!!

Muppets - I assume following directions.

We are a joke at the moment.

The stewards & police at Liverpool had it bang on - they sat back and let everyone have their say for over 2 hours.

I agree with this with the stewards. They' want to see my season ticket as I go up to block 107, i don't have to show them f**k all after I've got into the ground. there's nothing on my ticket quoting that I have to show my ticket to get to my seat
