My thoughts on the Cardiff City Stadium

Impressive ground.

Got into the ground around 16:30. The concourse is really spacious, its a nice touch having Sunderland highlights on the TVs and also Sunderland posters on the wall.

I was in row Y and my view was pretty good. Not sure what the anthem was that was played just before the game but it was sang loudly by you lot. The atmosphere at points in the first half from you lot was quite good, the Malky chants sounded the loudest.

Second half your fans weren't as loud as the first, atmosphere in the away end was fantastic, not sure how loud it sounded to you lot.

Didn't take long to get away from the ground, which is good because there are loads of ground where it takes ages for buses to get away. (I'm not sure what the sol is like for away fan buses).

Overall a great day out. :malky:

Hope Tan leaves asap, shocking to have an owner treat fans and managers the way he has.

Jack boy, they don't go to your stadium because of all the inoculations they will need.

Is he a Swansea fan?

As a Sunderland I am used to obsessed Newcastle fans on Sunderland forums.

Nice comments from you. Didn't hear your fans hardly at all until late in the game but I was at the opposite end from you. What's that song you keep singing over and over? Good game of football. We were the better team for about 70 mins and I don't know why we started to defend so deep. I felt your equaliser was inevitable as you kept attacking wave after wave. I think Poyet has a good chance of keeping you up. :ayatollah:

Great relentless singing from the Sunderland fans for the last quarter of the game. Must have spurred the team on, got what they deserved for not giving up. We battered them for the first half, then as soon as our second went in we went all defensive and let you back at us.

Oh yeah, Cheers for Frazier Campbell (will always score goals), you sung it when he scored, we never

I can't stop singing Can Only Get Better. Such a catchy song.

Fair play though, one of the best sets of fans to come here. You would have drowned us out if you brought the full allocation

Cheers for the positive comments lad.

The song we were singing was:

Things can only get better, can only get better
'Cos I found you you you you you
SUNDERLAND :malky:

Also I'll add that your fans seemed a decent bunch. The impression some of the media and some some other football fans give is that you lot are all hooligans who will kick anyone in just for being English, this is all bollocks of course.
