Cheers lads, I enjoyed the trip down yesterday. Your stadium is a good ground in my opinion.
Feel sorry for your fans having Tan as an owner. Tan Out!

The ref was either shit or a Sunderland fan, he did everything in his power to let back into the game and to stop us running away with it. Second half we were absolutely terrible and just went back deeper and deeper and virtually said come on lads have a go, which eventually you did, then we made substitutions all very negative and sealed out own fate by allowing you to keep crossing and shooting until you scored at ninety five minutes when I didn't see one injury.
Your fans were ok, I think you will go down, I think we will be OK as long as it's not Sven, because there were some good performances yesterday from Mutch, John and Noone and Campbell, so there is some positives from the game. Fair play your team did show some fight and if you do that every week you never know.....

Second half we started well again, and got another early goal. At 2-0 it was looking promising. Sunderland had to chase the game, but thought we were fairly comfortable until the last ten minutes. The substitutions changed the balance of our side, and we started to defend deeper and deeper. Our distribution from the back was dreadful, especially from Marshall. This gave the ball to Sunderland, who were able to mount wave after wave of attacks. Good attacks too.
2-0 is a dangerous lead. One minute you're coasting, next minute it's 2-1, and panic stations! That's exactly what happened. Having said that, it looked as if we had weathered the storm, but sadly not![]()
The difference between the Championship and the Premier League is frightening. We would probably have won that game in the Championship, but Sunderland' patient pressure finally told.
Thought your support was very good, especially as you had two away games in three days. I suspect that a trip to Goodison was the more attractive option.
Looking forward to visiting your place after Easter. Not been to the Stadium of Light before.
On a more sober note, I suspect we will both be relegated. Hope not, and time will tell. Gus seems to be doing a good job, and you must be pleased with four points from the two post-Christmas games.
Best of luck for the rest of the season

Good post.
I was at Cardiff yesterday but didn't go to Everton. £20 for a ticket at Cardiff compared to £40 for Everton, could have been a factor.
Hope you enjoy your trip to the sol, apart from the result, plenty of pubs that are away fan-friendly in the city centre and a few near the ground if your interested in that
Regarding relegation: I've accepted for months that we are going down but the last 2 games have given me some hope. I think whether yous stay up will depend on who you appoint as your new manager.

As for your fans I thought they were superb. You managed to put our lot to shame with the noise you made (I won't say singing because I couldn't understand a feckin word) especially when you were 2-0 down.
I'd rather see you stay up than the likes of Fulham and Palarse if only for the passion of your fans

Can see how you can beat Everton but also see how you are in the bottom three.

Really?
He did an amazing job at Brighton and he's a million times better than Di Canio.
