is the bluebird dead?

Sun Dec 29, 2013 12:55 pm

New to this forum and want to pose an honest question.......

Thousands are wearing red, there is a new badge with a less prominent bluebird but a prominent dragon?

When city do well there are many who just sit in silence when we shout "bluebirds",something no other club in the world can shout and something that has rung from the terraces for decades.

So those in acceptance of the red and new baddge and nickname......

Is the bluebird dead?

You won't find many people who are pro-red mate.

Stood at the gate entrance last night and saw man in red? Sat in a row where 6 out of the 10 are wearing red scarves.....

Finding any who are pro red is a problem. Never mind many MATE.

Tan is deciding our future so I ask again, is the bluebird dead?

Thousands wearing red, really?????

You saw one man wearing red.... So why say thousands in your opening post?

People still chant bluebirds when we do well.

Re: is the bluebird dead?

Ironically, there's more blue being worn by fans in the stadium now than I can ever remember. The red rebrand is slowly but surely dying a slow death. For me its now only a matter of when, not if we return to blue.

Obviously a typo but quickly learning your an idiot

The fact is this.

Many are in red, you all sit on here debate shit. Ignoring the real issue that we are playing in red and dropping the bluebird.

In the ground there are very little anti red songs, bluebirds was sang many times last night..... for the first time in a long while.

When will red go, not by tan it wont , so it has to be the fans....

Yet all you do is biccer amongst yourselves. Not turn up for marches or protests. Giving the wrong messages.

"Obviously". :laughing6:

It's already dropped from thousands to many... I'm not ignoring any issue at all.

If you really think I've done nothing about the rebrand, then you know nothing.

Hiya mate! Alright? wrote:Ironically, there's more blue being worn by fans in the stadium now than I can ever remember. The red rebrand is slowly but surely dying a slow death. For me its now only a matter of when, not if we return to blue.

I've noticed this since the Liverpool game. Only saw one red shirt and a few red scarves yesterday. Blue was already dominant in comparison but the red is now starting to die.

yes well whats it like walking pass Mavericks lately. Not been for a while but last time, Tottenham home, it was at least 50/50 red blue?

The tide has well and truly turned as far as the rebrand goes, more and more people are again wearing blue in greater numbers every game. The rebrand has failed.

Tan is deciding our future, your bigoted views and insistence on slagging everyone off who doesn't agree with you (about 98%) is helping him more than anything else. If you can't see how much blue is in the stadium you have real problems, or are you just counting the people that disagree with your view on life?

You prattle on about "Pro-Red"... there is no such thing. Some people (not me) choose to support the team by wearing the same colours, this doesn't mean they are "pro-red" I bet there are very, very few, if any that would not want to get our blue and white shorts back.

Not a serious question just another wind up numpty!

The Bluebirds is what City fans call their team.

It can't be taken away or die(as you said) unless City fans want to stop using the term.

No it will never die in my opinion, even if someone took it away from the badge, we will always be bluebirds and will always wear blue. If anything good can come from Malky going it's the resurgence of blue, it seems to be growing by the week :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Your deluded if you think VT will return to blue or be leaving anytime soon. I suggest you read the post - 'Why VT will NEVER change the colour back to blue' which will explain the reasons why.

The stadium is blue, hardly any red about now which is excellent.

HOWERVER - Some of you are deluded, deluded beyond recognition if you think that matters a jot to Tan. Do you believe all the bollocks about him rebranding us to appeal to the asian market? Do you honestly think he thought we would love the red? NO. He did it because he's a crazy power mad buffoon and that is why he will never change back to red. Get used it because he's a stubborn little man and he will not listen.

It does matter to Tan, or he wouldn't have given free red scarves out and tried to bribe fans with free STs for wearing them... Neither would he have mentioned it at the CCSC dinner.

I've never seen so many fans wearing blue as yesterday. Bluebirds chanted regularly and very loud. Tide has turned in our favour.
