There is no reference to the liverpool game you mention other than 'draw'.So you predict 20 points worth, add it up wrong and say its worth less and come up with a piss poor excuse for your ball drop. My mistake :notworthy:

Not bad Roathie and I would take that.

However I think there will be a surprise draw amongst the away loses you predict but that will be knocked back by a couple of draws from the home wins. 35 points or about for me thanks to what has gone on.

Agree.

Always a few surprises thrown in there as you showed with Man City and United. But then you will drop some like Sunderland match.

I think get 37 and you have a punchers chance. And less and you could be in a bit of bother.

Not pointless if they are correct.

I think i was pretty much spot on when we had a similar conversation at the beginning of the season. I think I said you would have 19 by the new year if memory serves and i think you said 20 or 21.

It shows what people are expecting to achieve game by game and then applying it to the league. Not a tricky concept carps :D

Sorry I don't recall that at all.
Show me your predictions of the first 19 games then and how they turned out

I have no idea what name I occupied at that time

The exact results aren't really important but the points tally is what we are looking for. The teams are there as a visual guide and i was probably (assuming you lose to Arsenal) 1 point out.

Dont apologise. You will just have to take my word for it

Re: HALFWAY PREDICTIONS

I thought if we had 20 points by the end of January we stood a chance - we were on course to be ahead of that yesterday, but whilst it was two points dropped, we did gain one on teams around us who mostly lost. With a win against WHU and maybe a lucky point elsewhere then we are on target to be just ahead of that. The big test then comes with the home games against Fulham, Stoke, Villa, Palace, Hull, Norwich and the away games at Sunderland, WBA and Jacks with anything else gained elsewhere being a bonus.

Personally, I think it will be less than 40 points to stay up this season, so we have to inflict damage on as many of those teams as possible. This is why Tan has such a massive decision to make with the manager and funds. I think we will just about scrape it - some encouraging signs despite the result yesterday. We do have the players to have a go and get a lead, but we have to learn and quickly how to defend one in this league.
