MY OWN VIEW...........if you feel so strongly go down the ground early,or after game and protest.........inside the bowl should be for supporting our team. after all a banner is an individuals view.
in answer..dont think legality comes into it.........would you have people within your property slagging you off?

The banner in the Family stand said "Thank you Malky" That is in no way offensive to anyone, Not even Hitler Tan.

totally out of order , for that steward to try and remove a( thank you) message . Someone from the club should be answerable to us (paying fans) why this action from the police ( I mean steward) was taken ? ,

Agree, find it difficult to explain to mine why it was not acceptable.

What would the point of a banner be if no one saw it? This is yet another disgrace caused by our loving owner

Agree , if anything it lifted the atmosphere at that end . That is the loudest I have heard the family end and a few songs were started at that end of the ground . The pathetic attempted banner removal seemed to galvanise them

at my last homegame last season (also the first league home match after the rebrand), I had to show the stewards my CCFC German Shepherd flag, so they could check there was no anti.Tan/anti-rebrand slogan on it. So it's not a general ban on flags and banners, just a ban on regime unfriendly stuff...

exactly what i am trying to say,we as fans surely have the right to air our views ...positive or negative.. :ayatollah:

Songs don't block anyones view but a huge banner does. I dont agree with trying to remove the banner to stop fans displaying their thanks to Malky if that's what they want to do.

I was talking to a steward who told me it's likely that they are stopping the banners because of com Pllaints from fans who end up behind them.

I also thinm that as funny as it was the appearance of the banner changed the emphasis from supurb early support to something not connected to giving the team a lift.

i didnt mention the family stand banner.............tried answering the question..............obviously you didnt like the answer..........if you think he is breaking the law phone trading standards or the police or council..........maybe you can take banners into theaters ,night clubs and cinemas too...........

Stop blaming the stewards and start asking questions of the club. They are there to enforce the rules and if they don't they will lose there minimum wage job, some on here are thick as shit.

Well said - blame the regime not the stewards who are obeying orders. Great atmosphere in family stand first half. We need more banners!

no but some1 else did so i thought id clear it up.........in fairness to stewards i doubt they know EXACTLY what the banners say when they move in.........48 is correct, its under orders.....ring or email the club........but i think you will be told, obstructing view , and spoiling enjoyment of others..............its a problem in all seater stadiums..on terraces people could just stand else where.

the steward in question did ask the guy behind who was arguing with him to go down stairs with him to sort it out...and also banners are being removed in canton stand...which is a standing section.. :ayatollah:
