Has Noone played on the left

I take it he is left footed.

Moving him to a traditional left footed left winger role would allow Maynard or another genuine forward to start on the right

I've said it all year. Play noone in his rightful position of left wing. He can beat his man out wide and clip a telling ball in. These days, they play wingers on their weaker side, they come inside every attack, narrow the pitch on every attack.
Ok, that's fine. Diff angle of attack but, y wingers don't change wings, create confusion and make defenders think is baffling to me!

Poyet always played him on the right for us which really bugged me as his natural position is left wing

errrm cuttin in whipping balls in the box its not his fault we got no c**t in the end of them.

The days of a left footed winger getting to the bye line and whipping it in left foot are long gone.

Robben left footer plays on right and Ribery right footed plays on left for Bayern.

Some superb crosses went in yesterday with nobody anywhere near them. We have to sort this out, but at least the signs were encouraging in the sense that we had some width yesterday.

Noone was the biggest threat yesterday that's why they doubled up on him in the second half..

I don't know if we can recall Conway but I would defo try get him back in place of whitts. Add him to the team that started yesterday and I think we could be in with a chance of staying up.

Conway is back at Cardiff now, his loan ended at Brighton, but we won't be able to use him till the 25 man squad can be changed which is Jan 1st.

I agree we give managers to much credit. yes ok they play football for years but that doesn't mean they have a brain. alot of footballers leave school at a very young age the education isnt very good.
We then give them coaching badges to go run a club.

The bottom line is alot of managers lack commen sense or have the ability to utilise an edge over their counterparts
