Substitutions cost us

Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:39 pm

First 45 mins today was the best all season. All the midfielders were on their game especially Kimbo and Mutch, the passing, movement and chasing down were superb and we deserved our lead going in at half time and should have been leading by more.
Second half we continued our excellent playmaking and Campbell got a well deserved goal to put us 2-0 up. Game over you might think, cue Don Cowie and Arron Gunnarsson. Why the f**k did Kimbo come off, he was having a stormer. There were 20 odd mins left in the game and we just dropped deeper and deeper, in fact if we dropped any deeper the players would have been in the f*cking family stand and in the end the inevitable happened and we fucked it up. Frustrated as hell :?:

you just knew an equaliser was coming....

backing into our box and allowing players to run or cross, Barnsley allover again...

70 + minutes of effort thrown away !

Absolutely spot on, Kimbo was running midfield.

Kimbo looked nackered after 65 minutes.

I can't tell you how fucked off I am about the substitutions.

Those decisions lost us the game.

WTF IS GOING ON AT Cardiff City

Kimbo was dead on his feet. I can see why he brought on Cowie for Noone, though Noone didn't really look all that tired.

Credit to Kerslake bar the subs.

Set the team up with McBride and give Mutch freedom and put him behind Campbell.

John was given a role to be an attacking fullback where Malky would not let him push forward.

So many people forget that Kerslake was the number one coach behind Malky, it was obvious that the selections and tactics were going to be the same. The only difference was it was on TV and all the players looked like they were playing for their jobs.
Look at Cowie coming on for Noone, a total disgrace. If Noone was injured bring on Maynard or "Odem-I-dont-do-a-thingie" for some pace.
Kimbo was knackered he had to come off and Gunnarson was the obvious choice. Cowie shouldn't have been on the bench.

If Tan wants OGS from Norway and has to wait then bring in a temp manager to get us through January or our tactics with Kerslake is going to be so negative and we will end up with a worse goal difference than Fulham :-(

I don't get this Kim was dead on his feet shit, if he can't last over 80 mins then he should retire. He looked fine to me, I would prefer a dead on his feet Kim to cowie or gunnarsson any day

Kimbo did look buggered and was guilty of giving possession away needlessly. Noone however was still giving their left back the shits every time he got the ball. After he came off it allowed them to pile forward. We backed off and backed off without challenging the ball higher up the pitch inviting pressure.
They had already missed a few decent chances, but when they got their 1st it was only a matter of could we hold out until they scored again.
If KTC had of put the ball in row Z rather than unbloodybelievably keeping the ball in play then we would have won.
Hull to their credit continued to attack for more goals. We are not good enough to shut up shop. Kerslake post match said he realised we were sitting back and allowing pressure but couldn't get them to press the ball???? WTF
If that is the case, Tan in the dugout. :?

They were doubling up on noone in the second half.

Hull when they went 2 up continued to press forward searching for goals rather than do as we did and try to shut up shop and see out the game. If we had kept at least Noone on the park, then Sunderland wouldn't have been able to attack as they did for the last 10-15 minutes.
