Marshall made about five saves before there 1st goal yet we still camped in so it was comming eitherway, the warnings was there and we carried on the same camping style so it cost us, same old malky mentality set in imo.

What gets me is that we were playing the worst team in that division....not Chelsea or Man City or Arsenal. You do not sit back against teams like Sunderland and invite them to bombard your goal. We could have scored another couple and buried them if we'd continued to attack. Suicidal tactics yet again.

Well malkys gone, we didn't sit back untill going 2-0 up which has cost us loads of times after taking leads but we still do it and I don't think we played hardly any hoofball today only when we was sitting back at times we had to for the last 25minutes as we wasn't pushing up at all.

What gets me is that we were playing the worst team in that division....not Chelsea or Man City or Arsenal. You do not sit back against teams like Sunderland and invite them to bombard your goal. Its always the same stan look at past leads we have taken stats do not lie. Like you said we was playing the bottom club, we got arsenal next and we are going to get bummed if we take a lead.

Brought Gunnar and Cowie on to tighten it up and they didnt get a tackle in.

I just rewound it and Gunnar is nearer the post than the edge of the box where their midfielders were.

I think Ray Wilkins was describing it as suicidal referring to the last 7 mins. I don't think you bossed that game at all, and the stats show you didn't. As I said, the prem is unforgiving and cruel if you struggle to see a game out then 9/10 you will get punished, no matter how well youve played or battled throughout the previous 83 mins or so.

Thats because we sat back it wasnt hard to see what was wrong we got deeper and deeper as the game went on sunderland had 4-5 chances to score before there 1st goal and we still done the same after they scored and the rest well is history, i knew what was comming after 70minutes seen it stacks of times this season after we score a goal buts whats worse we was 2-0 up and carried on the same after it going to 2-1, it was on the cards
