As Kerslake is in charge I think we will see pretty much the same sort of lineup Malky would of put out

I think Cornelius up top in a 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 is a great idea. I'm still confident he'll do the business given a few starts. He's the only player that could play as the lone striker right now. Campbell works hard but he's not a lone striker.

I'd consider starting McNaughton but overall Theophile-Catherine has been ok. Last week was very unlike him. I'm not sure I'd start Whittingham. I think we need to sacrifice what he adds via set pieces for the good of the team cause and I'd start with the following...

GK: Marshall
DR: Theophile-Catherine
DL: John
DC: Turner
DC: Caulker
DM: Medel
DM: Cowie
RW: Noone
LW: Bellamy
AM: Mutch
FC: Cornelius

Hudson hasn't been the same since his last injury and I simply don't think he is anywhere near Premier League standard. He was barely Championship standard after his injury. Turner has been off the boil lately but who else do we have? I would actually even consider McNaughton and Caulker as a centre back pairing. McNaughton has always been superb at centre back and I think he could do a job there, even at this level.

Cowie and Medel as the DMs would be ridiculously busy and give the defence the perfect protection. The pace of Bellamy and Noone out wide with the physicality of Cornelius up top would be great for hitting on the counter.
