Is it down to justifying Transfer Fees or, is it down to getting the results?? Maynard and Cornelius came in for big fees. Whereas, Mason and Conway for minimal fees. Personally I think Mason and Conway to return and Chuck them in, in the short term. Cant be any worse than Playing Cornelius and Maynard. I can only summise that Cambell and Odemwingie need a break.
Malky, PR were brilliant and he revelled in proving it! Now we need a 'Sylvester Sneakly' type character who will guarantee results on that field of play

I've been saying this for a few weeks. Mason even if hes a championship player. Could score more than 3 goals in the premier league in 18 games.
And conway would have a positive effect based on how awful we have been attacking even if a championship player he would still have shots at goal and run past defenders

It's the midfield we are lacking in not strikers in my opinion, how many chances does Campbell miss? None because he doesn't get any, he's making the runs and not getting the right passes. Whittingham was doing it in championship but can't cut it in the prem, in my opinion. We need a premiership quality playmaker. I watch Frazier closely every game and I feel sorry for him, he looks sharp, he's making the runs but nobody plays him in. Just look at a few weeks ago when mutch put that quality ball through to him and Frazier calmly slotted it in. Of course this is just my opinion

I think its more campbells nature hes a quality finisher but he needs the right team around him which isnt easy to build..
at this level unless your consistantly playing against weaker teams your not going to find yourself in many positions finishing off clear cut chances.
If you look at all the top scorers in this league they score fantastic goals from outside the box, they score headers, their finishing is next level from within the 18 yard box.
and that is how good you need to be to score more than 15 goals in the premiership

Spot on. Frazier makes loads of brilliant runs that don't even get seen as we are too busy passing the ball backwards. His closing down of the Southampton keeper caused him loads of nervous moments and yet somehow Odemwingie didn't manage it once. Keep the faith with Frazier but get him some supply ffs.

With a quality playmaker, a premiership version of whitts I think that's exactly what we need.
