Neil Warnock

For what it's worth (nothing probably :laughing6: ) in my opinion Warnock would be your best bet to keep you up as a short term appointment until the summer. He would motivate your current set of players and the style of play wouldn't need too dramatic a change.

All this talk of Hoddle and suchlike would be a short term disaster given the players at your disposal and mid season really isn't the ideal time to be having such a dramatic shift in style.

That's my two penneth anyway whether you like it or not

A manager with a proven track record of being relagated in the premiership. and getting sacked.

We need someone that can inspire our current crop of players someone they look upto and respect for what they have achieved

He is the.same level.as malky and holloway. They are all top championship managers not prem quality

I think the Jack is right. Warnock's trademark hoofball style will dovetail nicely with the class of player currently on show at the club. A different style would be great, but a Hoddle, Solskear,..etc, would need to change three quarters of the squad.

Not as daft a notion as first seems :ayatollah:

Yep. Now is not the time for a 'manager for the future'. Solksaer would be a disaster. Can you imagine the pressure he would be under as such an inexperienced manager? Tbh he (Malkey) should have been sacked sooner if that was the road Tan wanted to take as maybe then he could have brought in Pulis. Theres not much around now, but if CCFC wants to stay in the prem then I reckon Warnock would be about the best out there.
