Am I in the minority

Fri Dec 27, 2013 6:54 pm

Tbh im glad to see the back of mackay watching the dross that the teams he sets up on the pitch is enough to get him the sack.
As I've stayed before if it wasn't for the colour change and badge change and purely on football grounds he should have been sacked ages ago.
Let's get someone in who will stop all this negative football that we have been forced to watch.

I liked malky but we were boring to watch and to defensive even in the championship his style wasn't going to change anytime soon.
Look at the stats of shots against us since malky took over.. Or even this season the shots we had against us whilst we sat deep is incredable

No

Top post, totally agree and no, I don't think that you are in the minority.

I think you are in the majority but from a footballing perspective I fully agree with you.

However, Malky appears to be a very decent, hard working, dedicated man who should not have been treated in such a shoddy way by Tan. If Tan wanted rid of Malky, he should have shaken his hand, paid him every penny he was due under his contract, thanked him publicly for the excellent job he did in getting us promoted and wished him well for the future.

Unfortunately Tan has no class about him whatsoever. All the money in the world does not entitle you to act like an absolute bellend.

Malky is clearly great for the right club. we aren't the right club and changes were needed to start clear with a positive coaching set up

unfortunately that isn't the way it's done these days
It's a cut throat business with no sentiment
look at Southampton their fans were in uproar
When Atkinson was sacked it's turned out the
best thing to happen to them they gave us a
total football lesson yesterday
we were 3-0 down and what does malky do
take of Taylor and bring on John ffs come on
we are chasing the game for a goal the idiot

Changes had to be made some where, and I think it was clear to every one that Malky's days were numbered at our club.

It's the manner of his departure that's disappointing.

There are two sides to every story, I do hope in time that we all get to the real facts of the matter.

Dave Jones used to do that and our fans used to be up in arms...

IMO we are in the best league in the world for the first time since I was born and the PL is very different to the championship,I know many have slagged MM for his style of play but when you have so many new signings they need time to gel and these PL sides are simply better than us so I think MM didn't want to take any big risks for the fear of being slaughtered and keep chipping away at survival which so far he has done. The idea was to finish above the relegation zone which is where we are.
