I just wonder, when we get our new manager do you think he'll continue to pay his season ticket as Malky has been? Don't you all think its time he stepped off the bus now? Let's see if you can guess who I'm talking about; and starter for 10, no its not David Marshall!

I think we need a bit of caution just now. Sure Whits has looked iut of sorts for a couple if months now but I think that's mainly because he's been most successful playing in the middle. If you watch his body language he just doesn't want to play wide. For me he isn't dynamic enough on the wing but put him inside where he can link up play and make an ocassional killer pass and like in the past we'll all be singing his praises again.

Seems to me that Malky plays him wide to fit others into the team. Interestingly after half time yesterday I noticed that Whitts started in the middle with the younger Mutch wide on the left. Either the penny dropped for Malky at half time or Whitts manned up and told him (maybe fuelled by Whitts thinking Malky won't be around fir much longer).

We need all our players heads up just now and I think Whitts feels the critism more than most and it knocks his confidence when he pkays out of position.

Let's not openly shout down any of our own on match days. Even us amateur players know that the only way to get someone's head up us by telling them how good they really can be.
