Annis, I understand why you're stating that, however issues aside (rebrand, over/under spend, tan, name, how things have been dealt with etc...), do you think Malky is the man to take us forward and keep us in the Premier League?

He did a pretty good job motivating them for wins against Manchester City and Swansea plus a draw against Manchester United. Our fans are too short term thinking. If we'd have won or drawn against Southampton or even lost 1-0 then it would be a completely different story on these forums.

No manager has a perfect season and I'm amazed (I'm not really, I know how fickle our fans are) that so many people have turned on Mackay after yesterday.

Vincent Tan obviously, but like all company owners/chairman they rely on people they employ to use/spend their money wisely. It's been stated on here numerous times that VT is a novice when it comes to football knowledge so he's relying on Malky and Moody to get the best value for his bucks in the transfer market, looks like they possibly signed a couple of bummers though one whose yet to be on the bench for us.
Yes VT signed the cheques Moody and Malky chose the goods for purchase..he backed his manager but it could be argued that the choice of players was not that good.
