Id say the most important thing is our survival.

It might be just me but personally ive never been overly fussed what colour we play in.

Identity is all important. Away colours can come and go, but our primary, home, colour was always blue. At least in my lifetime, and I'm 56! Also the bluebirds badge. Cardiff City always had a distinct status, like Swansea City have, like Newport County have, like Wrexham have.

Owners, chairmen, managers, and players come and go too. It's only the fan base that remains.

Tan, (like Sam to some extent, at least at first), simply does not get CCFC.

Yesterday, at the protest, two chants went up, immediately after each other. 'You can stick your f****ng dragon up your arse' and then 'We're Welsh, not Malysian'. If you get that, you get Cardiff City!

The egg-loving Welsh establishment has always hated us. They, and all the other hangers on, ( and I don't mean fans who pay to go to games), will be off in a flash once we get relegated. And we will, at some point. That's when our unique identity, history, and traditions come back. Lose that, then we lose everything.

Identity can secure survival in football, when the latest owner has done a runner. Pompey are a good example. Without that identity, their club would not have survived.

Both are intertwined though I feel.Identity is important and I for one would love to see us return to blue. But I would not jeopardise the security of the club for it,not saying that is the case though. Who knows what Tan has planned next. But I don't think it involves him walking away from Cardiff City.
We can all hold up Banners and Sing Songs but still go to watch his product. Rock and A Hard place spring to mind. It would be interesting to be watching sky sports talk about the match and comment how only The away fans and media aswell as directors are in attendance,whilst 24,000 are outside protesting,but it will never ever happen.

I do feel that's the next level of split in the fan base though, it's already started a wee bit, fans will be mocked because of protests outside but then you go inside and watch it.

First time I really noticed it was at Watford. Perhaps it's stronger among the regular away support, but just look around at the home crowds. Red is not the overwhelming colour, by a long way. Once you take into account the blue and casual gear, red is a minority. Unusual, to say the least! It's not a small band of fans!

As for returning to blue, well, it won't happen by itself. That's why we have to keep alive our traditions and identity.

It's not us who are ruining this season! What was always going to be difficult is now almost unbearable. The blame lies firmly with the owner. He knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing. Tan is not a football man.

It's totally and factually incorrect. You claimed that we would definitely return to blue one day - how on earth can that be a fact? Then when asked to back this up, you talk about shirt sales.
