as our manager is now untenable. Malky doesn't want to resign because he wants the payoff- and Tan doesn't want to sack him because he doesn't want to pay him anything. I cannot see both ever settling their differences as the damage is now too great. Therefore, for the good of the club Tan must sack Malky or come to an agreement with him on a payoff. Either way, this must be concluded soon as this is obviously effecting the teams performance on the pitch.
The fans were superb at Liverpool, it was a great effort, but it will be in vain at the end of the day. Ive said this on here before had Everton offered him the job earlier in the season - he'd have gone and wouldn't have looked back. He's made history here and he'll always be remembered as a legend, but we must look to new legends and the club will move on as all clubs do.
I noticed Glen Hoddle was interested in the Spurs job and he could be tempted to come here. Would Glen satisfy the majority of our fan base? - I'd take him in a flash! I actually met him once outside Windsor Castle and had a picture taken with him - when he was the England manager, but that's another story! Anyway, he knows how the game should be played - anyone?
