500 protest all the way into their seats

Thu Dec 26, 2013 7:30 pm

Today I took a moment to survey what was going on around me, people getting very angry dressed up to the 9s in blue singing pro Malky songs and "We will always be blue", a few shouts of Tan out and a 500 strong protest outside of the ground. Then I thought what does Tan make of all this?

Then it hit me, he couldn't give a f**k. He is a billionaire and owner of a variety of different businesses. Why would he give a f**k about us, the fans. All he cares about is his bank balance. So continue to listen to the likes of Annis and Carl who were too busy 18 months ago to do anything when it REALLY mattered and sing your songs and wear the blue of our club because you are doing it in vain. Fact remains, want Tan out? STOP GOING.

Chuckles I know for a fact that protesting, singing blue songs and wearing blue has no effect on Tan, after all the way he made all his money he's had to stand on a few people to get what he wanted. He's not the type to give a damn what others think, he is con man and a crook in his home country he's not in the game to be popular.

Interested to know why you think I am wrong though, I just can't see anything other than an empty stadium forcing him out.

Stop going and your seat will be filled with more plastic.

A protest with 2 is better than no protest at all, some people need to make a stand and I salute them

You say you know this for a fact. How? Has he told you?

Wearing blue DOES annoy him, which is why he asked fans to start wearing red at the supporters dinner & why the red scarves were given out for free.

If he wants bothered by it, those things wouldn't have happened.

As for the blue songs - again, he mentioned this as a bugbear in the supporter club dinner speech.

With a season ticket eating list, there simply won't be any empty seats for him to see & I'd rather give my opinion as a supporter of this club.

Trouble is these fans want it both ways. Each time they turn up Tan is laughing. He knows he has won and doesn't give a damn about a protest consisting of a tiny portion of our fans. The curiosity of fans walking past the protest with their puzzled expressions was a sight to behold.

You have never been respectful in your life , well certainly not on here. Tan has done far more damage than MM has . Tan has blown any chance of getting a GOOD manager to work for him. Due to him the only person we will get is a puppet yes man or a novice. Or a bloody tyre fitter from East Tanistan.

It's not right to say Annis did nothing, I don't know Carl so can't comment, sadly there were a number of well known supporters who could have helped galvanise support for the BLUE and for whatever their reasons, decided RED was ok, but Annis was anti the rebrand from the beginning.

Sadly Cardiff supporters have always been fragmented and unorganised, to the point where many will refuse to listen to anyone who is not within their small clique.

It's my belief that those who were in the 'Hammam inner circle' (Annis excluded) thought they could be again and so badly damaged all initial attempts to rein in Tan's mad plans. They have to live with their consciences regarding that, but pretending it was RED or bust was always a disingenuous argument that didn't really hold water.

Many 20+ year supporters were effectively put off protesting by threats from people who were too easily ready to accept the red emperor......

Durham was right when he asked why has it taken so long for us to finally up the ante....

Lets hope more fans can feel confident about protesting without reprisals in the future....

My opening post has been edited by one of the mods to include a picture. Lets keep going then, lets keep singing pro blue songs and wearing the blue and see where we are in another 18 months.
