Almost feel guilty posting this poll, but with mixed feelings about our manager over the last couple of weeks I am interested in seeing the response.

Sack him. He wants out and Tan wants him out. No point in keeping him now.
If him and Tan got on I'd say give him more time but as it is it's pointless.

He should remain in charge long term IMO.

Needs to go. Nice bloke, but way out of his depth. If he was a manager at any other premier league club after spending all the money he did on new players in the summer and reeling out performances like he has, then he would have been sacked a long time ago. Not like hes had to make do with the squad we had last season or anything. Hes been given the tools for us to be comfortable in this league. We are not even getting battling performances now.

Sad as it seems, but he needs to go now. His position is totally untenable & the situation needs to be sorted for the best of the club.... & that means getting rid of a very popular manager.

Yeah, We can't rely on battling performances week in week out, we need to be good enough to win games through the tactics of the manager and skill of the players he has brought in.

Then try and justify our last 3 games and tactics

A fist pump can only get you so far in the Premier League.
Time to say thank you and good luck and go our separate ways
Thu Dec 26, 2013 7:36 pm
For the sake of the club, he should be sacked
i am a fan of Malky's but the situation now is ridiculous and whilst i hate Tan, we need a manager Tan will support
Thu Dec 26, 2013 7:41 pm
Every other team down the bottom has sacked theirs and that puts us at a mini disadvantage. Im concerned we wont get someone better. So id have him stay for this season. If we had better names than ogs and co lining up then fine- sack him. Im a fan of his and he has been a legend imo but footballs brutal like that. And the tan malky feud isnt gonna improve as other posters have said

Sack them all, tea lady, balls boys, player, manager, owner the f*cking lot, there all to blame

I hold my hands up Craig, I never actually call you any names myself but I did disagree with your views (and 1977's)

i wish i was wrong but I cant see Malky changing. He is too stubborn and as much as a great guy he is and the players usually run through walls for him, you need more than that to survive in this league.

It appears that the tide is beginning to turn.

Not many want him too remain then...

Craig you should remember that a number of posts were agreeing with the same sentiments.
I consistently said that the manager wanted out and was out of order in speaking to the press re a number of the issues between Tan and himself. I was also of the mind that the protest was timed badly and should be left until the Trust had spoken with Tan. What happened at Liverpool last week can not be repeated by planning it was a one off and didn't the manager use it to gain sympathy. Unfortunately results are more important than popularity.

Time for a fresh manager, there is too much damage done now. Time for Malky to move on and be remembered as the manager who took us to the prem. But who is going to want to come here to replace Malky and work with Tan that's the question?
Thu Dec 26, 2013 10:19 pm
Shit I am really surprised at that, I can't believe how quick Cardiff fans turn, at Liverpool, fans stayed best part of an hour to beg to save him, but after one terrible performance, its a white wash to get him sacked.
I suppose it has a lot to do with the likelihood that Tan still wants him out anyway, so don't delay move on quickly so as not to affect the team.
Problem is if it really is Sven coming in I doubt many would be wanted Malky sacked.........
