I believe the reason we're 3-0 down is largely because we're missing Medel. We've looked half decent going forward and have got some decent crosses in.

Odemwingie is a bit of a weak link at present and I don't think he's helping - I'd rather see Cornelius up there with him.

If Malky decides to go back to one up front in the second half, we're definitely not going to score any goals today.

Does Rooney really play as an out and out striker than or does he play in the gap behind the front man meaning that when the pressure is on it is actually made up of a 5 man midfield

4-4-2 works if you have the right players. I love Gunnarsson and think Taylor has always given everything for us but neither are good enough for the Premier League. You can't win games when you're playing with a handful of players who aren't good enough for the level you're playing at.

In his previous 2.5 years we haven't seen it. It looks like he has run out of ideas or covering his Odemwingie mistake.

Odemwingie and Campbell want to run onto the ball, but the gap between the midfield and strikers in far too big so we launch it. We need one of the strikers to naturally drop off, a bit like Joe Mason does.

Joe Mason couldn't get into the 451 set up last season as he needs 4411.

It looks to me that Malky is just guessing without an overall strategy.
