Cornelius & Campbell (4-4-2)

Thu Dec 26, 2013 5:40 am

Morning Everyone!

Game Day - anyone think there's a chance of 4-4-2 with Campbell & Cornelius up top today?
Be great to get Cornelius feeding off Noone's delivery....

Can't wait for the match.

Will be surprised if cornealeas starts. Malky said that he's not ready for premier league football yet

Agree with you, it would be good to see Campbell and Cornelius up top with Noone providing the crosses into the middle but I cannot see MM starting with that pairing. Cornelius will probably come on for the last 20-25 again. A win and 3 points is the main thing however a point against S'hampton would not be a bad result. :ayatollah:

No chance. I only hope malky doesn't start with Odemwingie or we are truly fecked.

Would love to see Corny and Noone play a full game today. I think theres a chance Noone may start unless Malky does an odd one again and plays the Ode fella again because of his love affair with him.

Corny has much less of a chance because I think something entirely different is going on there and hes not picking him fot political reasons.

Interesting summary of the way going to 442 has benefited Spurs under their new manager. Saw a great analysis of how the loan striker inevitably ends up wide trying to pick up clearances which ends up with nobody in the middle.

Made me think of almost every Cardiff game I've seen this season.

Teams don't stay up by keeping the scores down against the huge Premier League giants (or by nicking the odd point off them) they stay up by taking 3 points off their immediate competitors for the drop.

We've already missed that boat by not going for broke against Norwich, Stoke and Palace.

He's been total shit to be honest yet he's still picked to be our lone striker

To be honest I expected more simply because he was desperate to leave West Brom and had something to prove.

I think we all expected more. On the evidence so far he's been a waste of money.

Id like to see a more attacking formation today, with the ground behind malky and the club it should be rocking again and a good chance to pick up 3 pts, however id take a draw any day against soton this season.

Surely by not being able to brake into the first time is enough proof surely..?
