PLAYER OF THE SEASON - SO FAR

As we're approaching Christmas and the halfway stage

Who would be your player of the season so far?

I've used every body that has appeared this season

marshall and caulker...

Has to be Marshall without a doubt. Without him we would have lost more games than we have, and in some would have most likely taken a battering.

think its harsh that caulker gets all the plaudits over turner. turner obviously not a great footballer but a bloody good defender, doesnt miss a lot. id also like to maybe say campbell for best player so far, runs himself into the ground up top just to try and make it harder for superior teams to get down and play. hasn't scored many but he has grabbed some important one.

I put Whittingham, but Marshall deserves it.

I picked Marshall over the likes of KTC, Mutch, Medel and Caulker (our stand out players imo) because he has saved us so many points (like last season) and from conceding 6 or 7 goals (Spurs and Norwich for example) He has in the top 5 keepers in the Prem currently and hopefully we can keep hold of him for the foreseeable future.

Sad thing is he has made some world class saves and I mean world class saves. Sadly keepers don't get the acknowledgement they deserve sometimes.

Really promising with the amount of players we have who seem to be coping really well and thriving on the experience of being in the Premier League.

I was scratching my head wondering how he got a vote. I just thought it was because someone had confused his name with another player.

Merry Christmas to you and madness here!

But Marshall has been fantastic but I just gone with who I enjoy watching. The potential is showing more and more and you can see why he was brought here. The injury was a set back but when he came back he looked a new player and just think he needed confidence.

He has come up and cemented his place in the team and fully deserves it. Pushing forward higher a lot and grabbing goals which is also good for a midfielder. I think his strike v Fulham shows he can strike a ball and he needs to do it a bit more because he got it in him and needs more confidence. A lot to work on but thriving on being in the Premier League and deserves his plaudits.

He's got immense potential, you're right. Incidentally, would love to have been able to vote for 2. DM has been unbelievable so far.
