Don't scare VT off

Mon Dec 23, 2013 12:59 pm

Whilst not being one of those who was overly concerned about the rebrand, I was very much with the majority of fans who were strongly against the way Malky was being treated.

This weekend was looking like a sad goodbye to the manager who took us up and has given us a fighting chance of staying in the top flight. However, yesterday's news has changed things.

Whilst I applaud the rebellion against VT on the weekend I would advise against it, as Mehmet Dalman also advised, during the festive fixtures.

This is the time to show VT that we liked his decision to not sack Malky, this is the time to show him a tiny bit of the adulation he could receive if he listened to the fans on other matters.

By all means continue chanting 'We'll always be blue' and 'Don't sack Mackay'. But please don't sing, 'Tan Out'.

The main reason I ask this is, even though we are in the PL, I am still not convinced we could make it without VT's millions and the guy is the guy who saved the club, despite the issues since.

Let's even try and think of a way to appreciate Tan's decision to not sack Malky, but also continuing to let him know that there is a way to go before we are singing his name in adulation, not rebellion.

You never know, he might enjoy the positive noise so much he is pushed in a positive direction about the colour.

Did i say that? You're the one using tactics here. Laugh at the other opinion so it seems crazy so that your agenda can be fulfilled.
The section of former hooligans and young wanna be's asking for Tan to leave could do a lot more damage to this club than wearing a Red top is doing.

So why won't you allow others to speak their mind? :laughing6:

Your point might have had some credence, until you started making some crass generalisations. :thumbright:

Where have I said that I won't allow them to do what they want? I just disagree and think a generalisation is being made that EVERY fan wants Tan gone, so EVERY fan should protest and if they don't they are not a fan and supporter of the club at all because if you don't agree and bow down to the former hooligan then you cannot be a fan of Cardiff City FC and definitely not a credible member of this forum. :malky:

You imply it in previous posts. More generalisations I see. :laughing6:

If you want to let back and let a Tan drag the name of this club through the mud & let him destroy the identity of this club, go for it. :thumbright:

I'll be there, standing up for our clubs identity and to show that I'm not happy with Tan making this club look a joke. :malky:

So to generalise those who are against Tan as hooligans or wannabe youngsters supporters is totally correct, is it?!

This is an opportunity to press home about our identity! You might not give a shit about the rebrand but most people do..

I'll be standing up for the club I love and therefore standing up for myself on Boxing Day.

This issue is too important to do nothing about

Bluebirds..Cardiff City..Blue - the three elements that are synonymous with our club. They are worthy of fighting for!

Would you agree that you cannot be certain on the clubs financial future without Tan? If so, you and all fans considering that might want to reconsider going that far with the chanting,

The grass might be much less greener on the other side with this one.

Personally, I'd rather be in the news for this than the regular HMRC winding up petitions a few years ago.

I will sing Tan Out mate. He has no concept of how to run a football club, with some of his decisions absolutely pathetic!
His lack of respect for the fanbase, staff and management is at best counter-productive and at worst farcical!

TAN OUT

Re: Don't scare VT off

Mon Dec 23, 2013 2:08 pm

What I'm worried about in forcing Tan out is what we end up with, our recent record of bosses ain't great. We had Sam the scam, a liar and an asset stripper, got rid of him for a liar and conman in Risdale and have now ended up with a pure business man in Tan who doesn't understand football. What I'd like to know is if he tried interfering with the team before or after he brought Sam back into the fold, as going into the dressing room had all the hallmarks of his regime. I'd continue with the keep Malky and we'll always be blue and leave the Tan out until after the meeting between Tan and Malky me self as I really see nothing to be gained by that at present.

TAN OUT

Without his money there would be no more Cardiff City. We would have gone bust summer 2010. Even now, we could face administration and a Portsmouth style situation if he withdrew and asked for his money back.

I don't trust him to keep the club in safe hands if he leaves, especially if he leaves scorned.

It seems sometimes that people want to put their own agenda's above the long term future of the football club. Be patient with the blue, it will come, now is not the time.
