Hereford V Cardiff Len Ashurst ?

I remember an away day at Hereford, 1000s Cardiff fans there, loads couldnt get in, LEN ASHURST came onto pitch calm city fans down. Was anyone else there, that day... think it was a Draw. Can remember, police dogs in away ebd. And fans throwing barriers onto pitch....

I was there too, i can remember Len Ashurt coming over to calm us down and some of our own fans threw bricks at him. It was probably the craziest away trips ever. Me and my 2 brothers got chased by our own fans when they caught us we belloew out we are Cardiff and there was handshakes all round Oh and one of our fans Kung Fu kicked a police dog too

Thanks for that. It was a midweek game I remember waiting for the Mountain Ash private hire coach to pick me up on the roundabout at Rassau after work. Was mayhem there that night. Can remember the police being attacked with hoardings and Police dogs being kicked. I can remember the report of a police dog being killed. Was it a Welsh Cup Match?

Think it waz a Welsh Cup match. Was that the ground you had to go through a graveyard to get to match. Must of bedn early 80, s match. I was about 17 manic day. Im sure also we did the alotoyah that day.......

The 1990 game was mayhem. Seem to remember us giving Paul Wheeler loads of grief

Transit van up from bridgend with 15 of us wedged into the back... Returned with only 8 of us and minus a windscreen!

Honestly never seen so many dogs in my life, it was like "crufts" there !!
