Tan Out - What's the alternative

Sun Dec 22, 2013 7:09 pm

Sorry if this theme has been posted before.

Whilst I feel sick with what is going on with our club and the way malky is being treated. I'm struggling to accept the Tan out situation. This is based on the unknown of what happens if he decides to leave. So what would happen if he leaves ? Does the club have to pay him back all of his investment? If so obviously that would be impossible and from what I can make out it would be administration and then free fall?

Anyone now what the options are?

Even if he took a complete step back, rarely attended games, left the team alone and let Dalman run the club on a day to day basis and returned us to blue I think that would satisfy the majority.

Basically keeps his nose out of what he knows f**k all about

Didn't you know it's easy, make his life he'll drive him out there a millions of Billionaires just waiting to buy him out, take us over, turn us blue, buy us Suarez and Bale and Ransey, and win the Champions League for us in the Millenium stadium, oh and I forget they will let us in for free, because we are Cardiff and so desirable. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You have €80m of players according to transfer market website - it actually seems a little understated valuing Mutch at €1.5m.

So if you really wanted to, and I mean really really wanted to with Tan agreeing of course - you could sell up and pay all your debts off including Tan if he was willing to walk away with his money back.

You would then have the parachute payments (assuming you would go down) to rebuild, but this time within your means.

So from this moment on - red or dead is not an excuse. The club has the assets to be self sufficent... Aslong as Tan doesnt keep writing loan notes for £50m every summer.

I have a feeling it will be a lot worse than Championship football Mario. If VT is hounded out, I reckon he will asset strip us and leave us to rot, and who would really blame him.

Yeah you'd f'cking love that .

Besides, no way would we get £80m for our players. You, like the rest of your lot who are sticking their noses in where they aren't wanted, haven't got a clue.

I wouldn't love or hate it. Id just watch with interest.

You have a training complex and land also you can sell to supplement anything you think you may be short by. It all depends how much you would like your club back.

If you wouldnt want to do the above for the reason you would go backwards on the pitch then you really dont have a leg to stand on.

Mutch isnt worth much more than 1.5m
He ha scored a couple of goals in the premiership,

lots of players can do the same.

mmmm we dont own it yet and its bought with tans money, our assets are not worth 100mil thats for sure and our outgoings is not sustainable with just premier money? so its admin and freefall its that simple!

Of course he is

You bought him for that when he was a bit part Birmingham player - hes now proved he can do it at the highest level. Id be happy of we took him off you for £5m.

Malky is turning into a Che Guevara type character.....

He very publicly stood up to Tan, like we never.

Don't sack Mackay is an anti Tan/rebrand chant rather than just pro Malky.

This is a test, Tan knew a few more dodgy games and the malky support will wilt, but the handling of the UK media is beyond amatuer and Malky's team has ripped his team apart. The media is on board we must keep pushing for blue.

I guess the only reason Malky is still with us is that all the big names they had lined up don't fancy coming in with all the negative vibe

Re: Tan Out - What's the alternative

Maybe tans been advised by Simon Lin, seems a few problems have arisen since he been on the seen.
I don't agree with tan going in dressing room but he's not the first owner to have done this.

I have 2 season tickets and I've had season tickets for the past 13 seasons or so, I don't agree and never will with colour change and badge but at the time when tan came in he was what a huge huge ammount of fans had wished for.

I don't like Malkys tactics especially away from home, he did a great job last season along with the rest of the team. But if we don't get points over the next few games then I would expect him to go.

I don't think we have bought well over the past 5-6months eg brayford and if cornelius isnt ready for this season then I would say he is a poor buy. Why buy for the future when we are potentially fighting for survival in this league. Perhaps tan felt moody had advised wrongly on players.

Someone must be giving advice to tan surely he can't f**k this much up on his own...

I shall have to wait and see.. For the time being Malky and the team have my full support as I've always done over the years.

Hopefully we pick up plenty of points over the ne xt few games, I won't be at the protest because I didn't when we changed to red and I don't see what else can be done with a protest. I think tan has got the message. And any peaceful protest will soon turn ugly with a few pissed up fans.
