Don't be so naive

Sun Dec 22, 2013 4:47 pm

This is what he done with the rebrand. Said he wouldn't change the colours to take the sting out I the protests then did it anyway. I just hope we have learnt a lesson and are not as naive. This is just to calm protests over the next few games til he's decided on a new manager

This a Tan tactic to give himself some breathing space for now

Even the most blinkered can see this surely. Who threatens to sack somebody then a few days later says not just yet, i mean do fans really believe a word tan says anymore

so fans win a battle so now want to aggrivate the situation? ever heared of quite while ahead??? makes more sense to keep up support for malky than waste energy on tan who isnt going anywhere soon, no matter what we fans say or do! thats a fact

Quit if you want. If you that makes you proud. I think you saw from the hardcore at anfield yesterday that we aren't in a mood for quitting

You hit the nail on the head here when you say the "hardcore" now Malky is staying the vast majority of fans won't be bothered with any protest. Tan made a big mistake by sending that email and he knows it, he is looking for a way out of this that's for sure and I believe if the fans play this right we could get everything back including the blue. The hardcore fans just need to chill out a bit.

Good point. As long as the protesting is done in the right way. Not burning flags etc. We have some momentum now and it seems the fans are uniting more and more as time goes by

Complete rubbish. He changed his plans for the rebrand cancelling them and his 100 million investment and said he would seek alternative investment. A backlash from Cardiff fans wanting the investment got Tan to change his mind again.

Many articles are available with this one showing the two thirds of supporters polled backing the rebrand.

I never once said red or dead wrt the rebrand. We were dead had Tan not invested in us initially that is a fact. At the time of the investment we had been stabilised but were still losing a million pounds a month. That is also a fact available in accounts filed. However HMRC were no longer at the door seeking to liquidate us. The 100 million pounds investment was offered with a rebrand. Fans went against it so the plans were dropped. Tan then said he would seek further investment from other sources. It's unlikely he would have found that so the future was uncertain and very likely we would have at the very least been uncompetitive in the championship. Not dead but future certainly not what came due to the investment that was given as promised by Tan. It's bought us a squad capable of holding its own in the premiership (despite Malky's mediocre signings) increase of capacity and improvement of training facilities. He has been a nob the last few weeks and treated Malky despicably but he was open and honest until recently. I stand by what I said your op was complete rubbish.

No it's just pointless conversing with someone with there head buried in Tans arse as much as yours is.

Quick question, if Tan said he was going to walk away from the club if there was any opposition to him changing the name to Cardiff Dragons, what would your opinion be then?
