I wonder what will happen if Malky does go and a new manager is appointed in next few days? Normally, the new manager then wants to bring in a load of new players and put his mark on the team. Would be cheaper to give Malky a small amount to get some loan signings in or players who are out of contract in July. Not to mention the pay up of 2 1/2 years left on contract which I think someone said was £1m+ a year.
We've got about 10 players out on loan at the moment as well, so we're definitely saving money on wages here.
