One thing to come of all this media coverage/hype, is that it should prompt Tan and the board to make a clear statement in response.

Where's this Liaison officer type fella in all of this?

Malky getting the boot or not....what's more disappointing for me is the way in which all this is being handled.

A more structured approach to how they dealt with the Moody situation would have saved half of this shite.

I'm hoping Malky stays and they bring in a Director of football to give the club a fixed focus on playing styles and recruitment.

If not, then I hope they sack Malky with some clear good reason and put a good structure in place to get a replacement in before the Jan window.

Western Mail writer Steve Tucker says Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay will definitely be taking charge of his last game against Liverpool on Saturday.

The popular Bluebirds boss has reportedly been handed an extraordinary ultimatum by owner Vincent Tan that he must either resign or be sacked despite an impressive start to life in the Premier League.

The former Watford boss didn't attend today's pre-match press conference and Tucker told Keys and Gray such is the farcical scenario Mackay could feasibly be fired before the game against the Reds.

Tucker added that Tan has insisted on getting too involved with football decisions at the club and cannot understand why he is not getting the credit for Cardiff's success.
