Dilema for the free scarfers

Wed Dec 18, 2013 12:59 pm

Given Tans current moves and now that the weather is likely to get extremely cold. Do you wear your free red scarf or do you hold out and support the back to blue cause by refusing to wear it ?

All the Vincent Tan Free Red scarfs now should be either thrown on the pitch in disgust or handed in to the homeless.

I got one, I would never wear it, but I got one as it is a part of our history now.
IT DID HAPPEN.
I only want Tan to go in his own time, trying to get him out may make things a lot worse. (he'll do what he wants anyway)
Play the long game, the fans will still be here when he is long gone.

When I wear a red shirt I wear a blue scarf, and when I wear a blue shirt I wear the red scarf.

Like it or not, both colours are now a part of our heritage.

Think you should put ad in echo! As you :old: won't find any red scarf wearers on this board? Unless of course they are children of fans who wear current team colours! !!

This whole rebrand is a bloody pain !

I haven't worn a city scarf since I was about 14 in the early 80's. But in my personal but probably futile gesture of defiance I bought a very nice retro blue and white scarf- The only thing I have bought in the club shop since the beer mat.

Leave the red scarfs in the attic. As one poster said it did happen and it is part of our (your) history

Quite right part of our history now. So why not gather up every f*cking one of the unsightly pieces of trash and open up a shrine to the demise of the Bluebird brand; something akin to the Hillsborough shrine at Anfield. It will serve as a constant reminder of what we have lost and foreboding for the future! Does anyone recall the Faust warning of selling one's soul to the Devil .....???
