"Certain fans are the reason..."

Tue Dec 17, 2013 10:55 pm

It is in my mind, that certain fans are the reason for what is going on with OUR club at the moment.

It seems that a large majority of Cardiff City fans have rolled over and accepted what Tan has done to the club. We as fans need to show in one way or another just how much this club means to us, the history, the players, and of course, Malky.

Time after time people have accepted with no question Tan, taking the red flags, as an example.

I for one will continue to support the boys, however I wont be setting foot anywhere near the CCS until Tan is out.

MALKY MALKY MALKY :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :malky: :malky:

This post is about 3 years too late.

Again I warned you at the time and was shouted down again and again.

Being in the prem was put ahead of the club by most of you under the guise of financial security (however these same fans are now angry malky isnt given more than £50m!) it was a costly session of "keeping up with the Jones'"

But I agree, tan is not to blame - he is only acting in his interest and doing what he was allowed to do. Its a bit rich to moan now.

Thankfully it's all in your mind.

Blame Cardifff Fans?

No Fan,Boy,Girl,Man,Woman & Child wanted asked or hoped that Cardiff City would one day play in Red.
Some Fans will support the club regardless of any condition or stipulation.
Some want it a certain way or they will walk.
Neither wanted what we have.

I blame Tan for many things.

But our fans base has always been volatile.
The fact that you can blame another fan for our current plight is proof of that.

Not at all Castro.

Lots of us have been against this and expressed our dissatisfaction in many ways, weather it be by marches or through
BU, plenty of us have been against it from day one.

The problem is that there are more who are FOR what Tan is doing at the moment, which is why Tan gets away with all of it. It's not about the amount of money he is given or not given in Jan, I believe he has had a lot of money, but to blame him for over spending is ludicrous when it was Lim who had the last say.

Understand what you're saying.

But I know of a lot of people that are happy with the way that Tan has operated since taking charge, and have defended him through every move he has made, so in my mind, Yes, they are to be blamed. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Bit how many exactly? How many have actually made a difference? Id say less than 0.01% of the regular weekly attendance.

Marching does naff all, Tam doesnt see it - and so what if he did. People walking together (then going to buy match tickets) isnt going to stop him.

A mass boycott was the answer. He sees decisions being successful or failures by the financial rewards they bring. If there was a boycott en masse, there is now way he could have gone ahead with such raping of the club you love. Empty stands and zero gate receipts. It wouldnt make business sense to continue his ideas.

Some made the stand (TLG etc) and others had a duty to follow, but didnt. Instead ridiculed those that did. Now the price is being paid - too little too late.

You say you understand, but you still blame them :laughing5:

Tan did this.
No fan is responsible for his actions, they're his and his alone.

All they have done is "support the club regardless of any condition or stipulation."

yes you are completely right

and I would like to be the first one to apologise to you personnally CF14_Bluebirds for being instrumental in bringing Tan to the club, telling him what a fantastic idea playing in red would be. Being the first one to tell him to sack Moody. Then my greatest achievement persuading Tan not to give any money to Malky in the January transfer window, before I got to him he wanted to invest another £20million thank God I have such a persuasive nature

get your elitist head out of your backside and realise Tans decisions have nothing to do with the fans

He was always going to act in his interests, do you really think he was investing because of his deep affection to cardiff city? The guy didnt even know the rules of football when he was investing.

Football is a business and the lifeblood of any business is the customer. You had a major voice as customers and decided to not use it because of all the trappings that came with it. You bargained off your voice for some cash and a chance to be promoted. You cant now ask for your voice back now you are there.

If you all stopped going and made him know it was unacceptable - he wouldnt have done it. He already backed down and was told to carry on by supporters - so he did.

The Tan apologists amongst us are as much to blame as Tan himself.

It is a great chant and one that I fully support but unfortunately Tan has managed to buy a certain amount of our fanbase. :ayatollah:

Anti Tan banners seem like a good way to go.Tan is surrounded by a team who sanitise any critisisms and unrest so the only way to bring it home to him is banners displayed in full view. Normally the media tend to focus on such things and will add weight to the cause. And before some weak kneed poster tells us we might upset Tan then thats exactly the point. :ayatollah:

A big well made banner in the Ninian stand for the Sunderland game would be good. If Tan is there then it will be in full view to him and the sky cameras seem to point that way this season so it would get good coverage.

We need to take a page out of Hull Citys book :ayatollah:
