THE CAR CRASH THAT IS CARDIFF CITY!!!!

Tue Dec 17, 2013 11:17 am

As i see it, a lot of city fans are letting the ridiculous rebrand fiasco cloud their judgement on what is now going on between tan and malky, remember it's awful easy for all of us to side with malky because he has done well for the club and seems a very genuine man, but malky or us fans are not the ones who are writing the cheques, tan is, how would you feel if you've spent approx £35 million this season alone (the 7th highest spenders in the premeir league) on players to hear the manager stating that he would like more players / money??? then there is the situation with Cornelius and brayford, we spent £8 million on a striker (which we were desperate for) only to be told that he is not ready for the premiership, brayford was brought in for £2 million with a great reputation as the best right back in the championship, only for malky to never even give him a start for the stiffs and then go out and buy another right back. I would like to see VT sell the club on to another financial big hitter but i'm trying to balance things up a little and nobody can doubt that tan has not got his wallet out since he has taken control of the club, as for this whole mess, well it's nothing new for Cardiff City is it??? just in recent times we've had the kumer brothers, sam hammam and the riddler shafting us and giving us headlines we don't need, as i said, nothing new just a different owner doing it.

Agree - neither party is innocent in all this.

I just want to see our club prosper in Premier League, and naive maybe, I thought £50mil+ on a squad over the last 2 seasons would certainly achieve a better position in league than Hull Tigers!

It's not just that, it's also the drab showing we have to witness on a weekly basis, I mean thAt little fishing village down west have not spent as much as us in past 4 years COMBINED and they are higher in league, play better football and have a manager who is happy to rule himself out of the running of jobs like Everton in the summer......

Tan has made a shocker by changing our identity to red I agree, but he has financed our dream and not only that but our debts are no longer, our stadium expanding, new training facilities and a decent infrastructure to boot...

All I'd love to see now is a team on the pitch that plays to win instead of playing not to lose, an owner that would consider a return to our identity and a manager who stops contradicting himself on transfers....

One can only dream though:-)

Bluebirds!
