Did I miss something or did we get promoted to a league where teams spend £34 million on one player, if we get past Newcastle in the cup perhaps we can draw Barnsley and see if we have improved from last season

Nope not a chance we have a better centre back medel holds the midfield gives us that needed stability to accompany whittinghams superb balls.

Only since we have played noone have we looked capable of running at teams. bellamy if in shape would of been sublime for us.

Overall WE would struggle to get out of the championship again last season when we won alot of the games were tight marked we got lucky other teams got unlucky

Definitely better than last season. Caulker, Theophile, Medel are quality players and improve us considerably. Also Mutch was injured for most of last season and he has been superb this season. Definitely better in my opinion.

Ofcourse we are, we'd be rock bottom without the likes of Medel, Caulker and TC.

Ofc we are better than last year, People are talking like we have spend 100million. The money we have spent is not that much in terms of football transfers. Now, if we spend 15Mil On Joe Allen and 30Mill on Andy Caroll, Then id be pissed.

Might have overspent on Acorn but we are yet to see him so no one knows.

Even without Bellamy these players propel us well beyond Championship football. another factor is Declen John and Kadeem Harris would comfortably fit into championship level football which they did not last season so the answer to the question is a unanimous yes.

I personally i believe even if we lost Caulker and Medel cheaper adequate replacements would be found and providing the rest of the squad could be kept together we would we get promoted if we got relegated this season.

We would recoup a lot if we went down as caulker and medel would go
