Those who say Tan is right

Tue Dec 17, 2013 1:34 am

Fair enough we have spent a lot in the summer but it's not that I think most fans are angry about. It's the way he's come out and publicly blasted, undermined and embarrassed Malky with an uncalled for and unprofessional statement in the media. Publicly accusing and essentially blaming him for the overspend when we all know that Malky wouldn't have had the final say on the transfers, who's signing the cheques?

That's what's pissed me off anyway. Tan knows what he's doing, he's trying to wind Malky up so much he fucks off and if he does I wouldn't blame him. I wouldn't be happy if my boss publicly had a go at my job performance.

Spot on. Enough is enough, the man is a dictator and wants yes men in key position.

I thought it was a statement by Lim not Tan :laughing6:

I agree it shouldnt have really been made public like that

I agree we shouldnt be airing our dirty washing in public but if you think Malkys comments about the Dane and 3 players were totally innocent then you are naive.

MM is playing you all for fools. Only last week the chairman said they had to sit down and agree budgets, if any, and alluded to the possibility there would be no funds. He knows his days are numbered and is trying to provoke a reaction from Tan so he gets sacked and gets a fat pay out.

No surprise he choose to do this in the wake of the West Brom job becoming available.

Open your eyes they are both playing the game.

Sad thing is, Malky is using the fans as he knows most back him, even more than the club.

Wrong again. No football manager has a final say on transfers as he does not control the funding. Your eargerness to blame Malky whilst the real culprit escape a modicum of your critisism is shocking.

No manager has the final say on buying players. The funding has to be agreed by the chairman and the board normally but in our case thats just one man.

Actually on this occasion Polo is right.Any idiot can see that Malkys changed tactics lately and if this has been demonstrated by the fact that he has publicly said he wants 3 in the next window. Now under normal circumstances that would be the very last thing Malky would say in public. And I say all this as a Malky supporter and you need to look at things objectively for a change.

Thats the point!

He was given a budget and he overspent by nearly 50%

Thats total crap. If you think Tan would give someone free reign to overspend to such an extent then you are deluded.

Malky might have final say on the player but there's no way he had final day when it comes to the funding. Tan's not just going to give him a blank cheque is he. Someone, probably Lim, would have had to sign off the financial side. Otherwise what was to stop Malky chucking a £100 million bid in for Ronaldo.

At least we have got value for money out of 100m for Ronaldo.

We might as well have built a bonfire out of the 10m weve wasted on the Dane and Brayford.

Spot f*cking on.

Fed up of the self pitying wankers on here crying for Malky being mistreated by Tan, it's a load of fake bollocks. On this forum if you support Malky its seen as a massive resistance to Tan. Also, I hate to sound like a schoolboy but "Malky started it", going to the press when he knew full well he was getting f**k all this window.
