What I don't understand.

In the summer, it was reported that Velikonja had a bid rejected for him. Why? He's nowhere near the first team and seems to have vanished. The money could have been used for strengthening. Was he a malky signing? So many rumours about tan listening to outside sources and signing him without Malkys approval.

Brayford - I just don't get what's gone on with this signing? Is he not good enough or has he fallen out with malky?

Mason - loan move on, then off, the on again. What happened? Did malky stall because tan had told him before that there's no money available in January,

It's just strange the whole situation at our club at the moment. Has a few of our signings been 'malky' signings? Has interfering been going on for a while and malky accepted it for a while, until it it got too much with tan passing suggestions to malky about tactics during the game. Was the main factor the player bonus dispute, with malky siding with the players? Has tan held a grudge since then? Something must caused this relationship to unravel and become what it is now. What's people's opinions?

On the Velikonja bit, we paid 1-2 million for him and I doubt we got offered anywhere near the sum.

Our best bet is to loan him out and see if he can do some sort of business on the pitch that we can get a respectable fee back.

Malky has said he was scouting Etien when he was with Watford but the bid rejection is odd unless it obviously was under value. The Mason loan called off has been documented that we had injuries to strikers (Rudy, Odemwingie and Cornelius I think) so Malky kept him until at least one of them were fit. The Brayford signing is obviously strange.
