I agree with Tan.

Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:24 pm

We spent £50million in the summer, double the record spending by a newly promoted side.

£50million should be more than enough to buy players to keep us in the league, if Malky doesn't think that £50million is enough then he and his team made mistakes this summer.

Despite everything Tan has done wrong he has invested a lot of money into this club to get us where we are today on and off the pitch. If Tan thinks that £50million is enough budget for players for a season, and it is, then its fair enough that he says there is no budget for January. Malky blew all the money in the summer.

Tan doesn't owe us a January budget as we spent more than our budget of £35million in the summer!

This club has almost been lost because of overspending and bad management off the pitch, so I for one am happy to see an owner that has budgets and sticks to them and doesn't want for the club and himself to make a loss.

Why SHOULD Tan give Malky yet more money in January? Surely £50million is enough to keep a newly promoted side in the league?

For the record i think Malky is the right man for the job, just don't agree we are owed a budget for January after the amount of money Tan gave us this summer.

Agree if malky wants more players he needs to wheel and deal and ship some players out and reinvest the money like any other great manager does

Well I dont really know where I am in this, I really believe Malky could keep us up , but I do understand Tan when we see An Andreas Cornelius at 8mil, & John Brayford 1.5 Mil and no game time to speak of. There is near 10mil , no I wouldn't be happy if it was my money . But I dont want Malky to go,but how can he work like this .

Sorry to sound pedantic but I don't think £50m was spent, more like £35m. Still a huge amount of money though.

I agree with tan aswell. Malky had a lot of money to spend and should have spent it more wisely, cornelius needs to play otherwise tough shit malky you made your bed now lie in it, exploit the loan market now simple as that. Glad tan ain't a pushover because quite frankly if malky ends up in the relegation zone after spending that amount of money then he should go imo because spending that amount of money you should have enough quality to not be struggling. Just wait and see how we go now I guess...

He should just sell our dead weight like Maynard for example. he has played only 10 games for us in a year (i do realize he was injured for a long time) and has only scored 1 goal, which was a penalty in the championship. Also note that he is a striker and that record is utter bollocks. That sort of standard is not good enough and he cost us a couple of million. Other players like Velikonja who cost us 1 mil should leave as well.

Maybe VT would be fine with the transfers if we actually made some money back. We aren't known for earning our money back in transfers as from the 2010/11 season our highest transferred player was Anthony Gerrard who was sold for 350,000. Also in that time was have had 10 players gone on a FREE including Joe Ledley and Adam Matthews to Celtic who could of gave us a bit of dosh. MM just needs to sell our dead wood and then VT would consider a January transfer budget because it is his money we're wasting so he has every right to be pissed.

Got to agree. Mm should only be allowed to spend what he generates in sales.

If Malky needs a new CB how about him playing himself, that would save us a couple of quid! And perhaps his missus could make the tea. Nothing like being thrifty!

What have Ledley and Matthews got to do with Malky?

And beyond all the above, his tactics are poor.. It is no good standing on the side line with your arms crossed like Dave jones! If it isn't working then Change it around.. Why leave substitutions until the final 10 minuets? What impact will that have? The players wouldn't even have time to warm up by then...!
