GK: David Marshall for Cardiff City against West Bromwich Albion
Cardiff hung on for a win against fellow strugglers West Brom they were indebted to some late heroics from goalkeeper David Marshall, including a save of the season contender.
KEY MOMENT (86') What a save! Marshall seems to be going the other way as Long heads Berahino's cross back across him - but somehow arches back and tips wide. Crucial moment.

It was a phenomenal save, Marshall is definitely up there with the best keepers in the Premier League.
Where would we be without him and those magic hands of his

I have to say that before the season started, in discussion with Sandham, I didn't think he would make the step up, but I am happy to say, that I was very wrong and Sandham was right

As good as the save was, he had bugger all to do all game so the other keepers must have been shocking for Marshy to be in there.

What game was you watching, so you didn't see him grab nearly every cross that came his way and he meade a few saves that game

Caught a couple out of the air and made that wonder save. I don't recall him having much else to do. Just received the ball off he defenders every now and again.

FFS that is the most inaccurate stupid, naive, thick, statement I have ever heard , it was one of the best saves I have ever seen in my life and I have been into football for over 50 years.Apologies to you if you are visually impaired though.

To think some fans wanted Heaton to stay over Marshall.

Marshall could easily into a lot of prem clubs. Class act.

It's also one of the best saves I've ever seen. However I still stand to my point he didn't have much to do. The defence were solid

But during the 2010/11 season, Heaton had played in the majority of games ahead of Marshall, and deservedly so. Marshall was still flapping furiously at crosses and was nowhere near as solid as he is now. But he has improved considerably since then.

I was still sad to see Heaton leave, though. Very good goalkeeper.

To be fair it was always a tough call, can't deny Heaton was having some great games and always on Marshall's back.

It is such a shame that Keepers don't get the full credit they deserve, that save was World Class and no doubt not many keepers would have pulled it off.
