Weren't Blackburn in the premiership at the time?,can't really blame him wanting one last shot in the big time

Totally agree with you, what a waste of money Fowler turned out to be and I have no respect for him.

Waste of money...........unlike jimmy floydd who always played well for us even though he was past his sell by date.

I remember that photo of him pissed and worse for wear, great player in his day, but a freeloader at our club

can say with no doubt whatsoever that he was easily the most disappoining signing i've seen in 21 years supporting the city.

I will never forget Charlton Away...when one of our boys was screaming at him during the warm up, how much of a waste of time he was....it was pure comedy

That season was an absoloute farce as a whole, despite the F.A cup final we had half a douzen players who were just a waste of space.
My father in law was at the players ceremony at vale of glamorgan hotel after that season.

to cut a long story short the players ended up fighting with one another and trevor sinclair ordering a taxi smashed leaving on very bad terms,
that was prob the last time he met with the squad or one of:lol:

He use to spend most of his time in the pub close to where I live the Ivor arms, you could go in there most nights of the week to find him with his mates there
