Swansea have been tasked with overcoming Napoli in the last 32 of the Europa League while managerless Tottenham will come up against former manager Juande Ramos after being drawn to face the Ukrainian side Dnipro.

Swansea's draw means a return to these shores for former Liverpool and Chelsea manager Rafael Benítez, under whom Napoli currently sit 3rd in Serie A and were unlucky not to reach the last 16 of the Champions League having finished on 12 points in a group also containing Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal. Benítez won the Europa League while in charge of Chelsea last season.

Having sacked Andre Villas-Boas on Monday following their 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool, there is a certain irony to Spurs being matched up against Ramos, who was in charge of the London club for just under a year from 27 October 2007 before being sacked with the club bottom of the Premier League in the 2008-09 season having taken just two points from their opening eight matches.

The other ties include Real Betis v Rubin Kazan, Juventus v Trabzonspor and Maribor v Sevilla.

I remember you being on here when you just got promoted, before that non existent. Yes you are the better side at the moment, but we aren't a million miles away from you. Something I thought I wouldn't be saying at the start of the season. A long way to go though and a lot can change.

I was on here long before, although thats not the point. The fact you think i came just after promotion means my being here, is nothign to do with the derby game - we cant play eachother in different leagues.

As I keep saying 3 points after 16 games (plus superior GD) equates to you needing 8 points to finish higher come seasons end.

If we stick on our normal 46 point mark then that puts you on 38/39 - which was what was expected wasnt it? That isnt close, and that is exactly what its on course for.

As i keep saying, you would need to play an extra 8 (EIGHT) games to amass the amount of points to finish above us by a solitary point - going by your form. THAT IS significant.
