For The First Time In Ages

I actually enjoyed watching us yesterday. Malky changed his negative tactics and we reaped the rewards. Noone was man of the match for me and justified his starting place. According to MOTD we played 4-4-2, however it still looked like 4-5-1 to me. From the very first minute we were all over them and apart a last minute save from Marshall, they never looked dangerous. Bit strange why Malky bought on Maynard instead of Cornelius, but he obviously had his reasons.

What I enjoyed the most was we actually attacked all game instead of just sitting back and constantly being on the back foot. Would like to see him start the same team next week, however maybe replace Odemwingie with Cowie, seeing as we will be having to do a lot of defending and running.

Over the next 3 games I expect and hope for us to pick up 4 points. Don't expect much next week against Liverpool, however I expect us to beat Sunderland and hopefully draw with Southampton.

Your thoughts?

Good result, gritty performance. Plenty of room for improvement quality wise.

Pleased with tactical changes. I hope malky made them off his own back and not pressured into it.

A little confused by your post to be honest did you go or didn't you? you have also asked what the atmosphere was like in the stadium yet you have stated you enjoyed watching us yesterday?
