BUT, if we think like chuckles:

They still play at their traditional home

They still play in their traditional colours

They're owned by a local multimillionaire who has pumped in (loaned) over £50m



These are all things some people on here wish we had. I bet some would even swap with them in an instant.

A quick look over the bridge will however show you how having a local owner with plenty of financial muscle can make no difference when it comes to making a club prosper.

£50m in debt, decrepit stadium, shrinking fanbase and looking at a double relegation to the foot of the football league.

At Christmas, we should all think about those less fortunate and be thankful for what we have!
