Fantastic win, much needed 3 points and a welcome clean sheet.

Many fans wanted a more adventurous formation, today malky provided it. Craig Noone for me provided us with the biggest goal threat. His quality crossing warranted his starting place, Noone is a very direct player and when he's on the ball he gets the fans out of their seats.

Yet again Malky Mackay's team have bounced back after a disappointing performance last week.

Our defence deserved a clean sheet this afternoon, the back four were solid and Marshall"s wonder save in the second half was unbelievable.

Many fans asked for a change of formation and more adventurous approach and today Malky provided it.

Hopefully we'll see more of the same against Southampton and Sunderland at home.

Malky once again does it when it really matters ,this match was so crucial, a win was needed, nothing less would of been accepted by certain sections of our fans.
Malky shows he is not stubborn,has a plan B,will never hide from anything and will get those 3pts when really needed.

We will stay up under Malky Mackay and thats all every fan asked for before this season started, if they were honest with themselves.

Noone was great today and gave us some much needed width. I had doubts about Noones strength at this level, but he shone out today.

Agreed we need to stay positive when we have results like this. Brilliant performance, well done Bluebirds!

Gritty yes, quality wasnt there but we at least showed intent on getting forward and I can only recall a few aimless hoofs. Malky changed it up qnd Im glad.

only thing pissed me off was we didn't try and play the ball through the middle and give the ball to Campbell feet to try and score, the chances was just whipping the ball in the box for a header and yeah whitts goal came from that but the other times it was aimless and pointless but atleast it showed we can attack teams

Was concerned what may happen if we lost,thank f***k we won so we will never know eh? Don't worry about that - it will be back to 451 away from home

I thought Noone really came of age today. He provided countless good crosses into the box but we were playing without a recognised target man
I reckon Malky must have had a word with Whitts at half time. First half he ducked out of every 50-50 challenge and was generally poor. Credit to the guy though, he stepped up his defensive responsibilities 2nd half and provided the winner

I thought it was painful to watch. Our strikers have no chance with the football we play. Great three points though, and all other results went in our favour.

maybe the f.a.cup game will see cornielios start.good result today for you.it reminds me so much of mcliesh,s first year back in the prem.we finished 9th so no relegation battle but we still had fans bemoaninbg the lack of attacking football.i think if you carry on like you are doing points ratio wise there isnt too much anyone can say to a manager of a newly promoted team who grind results out.it,s when you dont pick points up this style comes under real scurtiny.

I agree with principle, but this was the first game at home against a club which will probably finish in the bottom half of the table. I expected Malky to be more positive in his approach against bottom half teams at home, but against teams away and top of the table teams playing more negatively for a point is the sensible approach. Just look at how good Man City are at home yet with their attacking style away they struggle. When they realise they need to be more defensive away they will walk the league, if they don't then Arsenal will hold on. I only support CCFC by the way and don't have a second team.

I dont class it as NEGATIVE when we lose and people post there feelings on here because people are due to moan at such dire performances its whats called for at the time from the paying customer but we won today so nobody should be moaning as we won and took three fat ones with us
